What kind of sheds can we move?

We can transport many different styles and brands of sheds. We can pick up and deliver them all over the state of SC. The only thing we need to be careful with is our trailer.


The runners on the bottom of the shed to be moved must be no wider than 74.5". Anything wider than that will not fit on our trailer.

New Rent-to-Own Policy effective 8/24/2011

Beginning on Wednesday 8/24/2011 we will be implementing a new Rent-to-Own policy. It is still NO CREDIT CHECK, but we will require proof of income. The monthly payment cannot be greater than 10% of your monthly income. If you choose, you are allowed to add a co-buyer to the contract. This allows for both incomes to added together representing your total household income.



We will also require your first month's payment in addition to the $99 down. Your contract will reflect that $200 of the amount you put down will be a deposit that will returned to you upon completion of your Rent-to-Own contract.

Cool Shed's is now an authorized and certified "Bennett Buildings Carports and Steel Structures", dealer. Bennett offers the highest quality materials and service in the United States. Here is a list of reasons of why our product is the the best in the market.

1. All of our materials...all the way back to where we source our steel is "Made in the USA". No Chinese or Mexican materials.

2. All of our installers are English speaking Americans. Our customers will have no problem communicating to the installers that arrive at their house to build the structure. This also means that our money goes to support American workers, their families, and our American economy!

3. Our steel materials are grade one quality. Most other manufacturers are using grade two for both their galvanized steel framing and the ribbed sheet metal.

4. Galvanized steel framing is the industry standard. Different companies use different strength quality as well. We use 14 gauge on our smaller stuff and 12 gauge framing on our lager stuff. We use galv-alum, with UV coating. What this means to you the customer is very simple. Our product does not get the white chalky residue (called white rust). It also means that our framing comes with a 20 year warranty. Our competitors offer no warranty or you have to upgrade to a 12 gauge steel for them to offer a warranty. We offer a full warranty for both our 14 gauge and 12 gauge framing.

5. The metal that we use to cover our buildings are also top grade. Our standard US Steel panels come with a 10 year warranty. You can also upgrade to an energy star rated grade one panel. This is the highest quality metal made. It is the same metal used for roofing houses and commercial buildings. We offer it 20 colors and this comes with a 40 year warranty. Yes! A 40 year warranty.

6. An added bonus is the colored screws. Some companies offer colored screws, which is a nice touch, but they don't exact color match. This is because they buy from China. Our US based company makes the screws and the metal, so that we get exact color matches.

7. Speaking of matching colors, we are also able to match colors for both our out swing doors as well as our roll-up doors. This is a very nice touch to any building. Matching Doors!

8. Windows are another option we have upgraded. We do not use bottom line cheap windows. We have opted for an upgraded window with the boxed window pane look to it.

9. Installation is a big problem right now for many companies. Standard install time is currently 5-8 weeks. Our current install time 3-4 weeks and we have been able to install our last set of orders in 2 weeks.

10. Our overall design uses a better machine to bend the metal. Our framing has a long smooth look to our corner bends, as opposed to a triple puncture bend currently used by most other manufacturers. Also our UV treated galv-alum framing has a glossy shine to it, making it really stand apart from the standard galvanized steel.

Do you need your shed moved?

Here at Cool Sheds we want to help you! Whether you want to move your shed to another spot on your yard, or down the road a few miles...we can help.

If you are trying to sell your shed, we can be a great help in delivering your shed to your future buyer.

For us to move your shed we have a few requirements.

It needs to be an engineered shed -- one that was delivered -- not one that was built on site. If you need help determining whether or not we can help you, give us a call.

We will need to see photos of the building, the current location on the property, the address of the current location, and the location and address of where it needs to be delivered. We charge a base fee and hourly rate. We can never estimate exact cost, but the better the information you provide us, the better we can estimate the total cost. If you need us to come take a look at your situation, we require a $50 service fee payable before we come visit. If you choose to use our services, the service fee will be credited to your transport fee.

Our service is designed to help those of your listing on Craigslist.com better figure out a true cost to help sell and deliver your building to your potential buyer. Cool Sheds Electrical Outlets, Switches, Overhead and Electrical Trees Explained

"Welcome to Cool Sheds.  My name is Keith, and I’m going to show you real quick how our electrical systems work.  Anytime you see overhead electric, this is in all of our new buildings, you have a switch, two outlets and a reset switch that will come up the conduit and go down the length of the roof there.  One, two, three, or four light bulbs depending on what you request.
We can come down at the end or the opposite side for the other outlet. 

We can add as many as you like.  You can also choose whether you want your switch at the back door or the rollup door.  But this is called overhead electric.  If on our description sheet you see electric tree, all that means is that you have a conduit coming up to a two-outlet non-reset box, a switch, and then a light bulb right there."

Aluminum and Steel Roofs Explained

Video Transcript: 

"Welcome to Cool Sheds.  My name is Keith.  I’m just going to show you a quick example about our roofs.  You’ll notice on this one, that is called a box-cut aluminum.  That was done on many of our older styles.  This over here—I’ll go to this lower building so you can see—that roof is a 29-gauge galvanized steel.  You’ll also notice that any time there’s a box-cut aluminum, you’re going to have these smaller vents and you’ll have them on both sides of the building. 

But on the steel-roof building, you’re going to have a ridge cap running the complete length of the building.  That offers more ventilation than the 29-gauge steel, allows for a lot strong protection in the case of hail, limbs, and things of that nature."

We had our vinyl sheds custom designed and built. The materials, structure, design, and labor to build these, caused the price to be considerably higher than our metal buildings.
